Description

Mint is an organic waste kitchen garbage can with vacuum system and activated carbon filter. Its vacuum system slows down waste decomposition and prevents the appearance of midges and smells. With a capacity of 5 liters, Mint is an indoor recycling bin. Its pure, elegant design will fit into any kitchen.

In addition to its design, Mint has been specially conceived and developed for simple, ergonomic use: fill Mint with your waste. Then lock the lid with the handle. The container is hermetically sealed. Now all you have to do is pump by pressing the top of Mint to create the vacuum. This way, your waste is away from decomposition for a few days. Each time you open it, you’ll need to repeat the process. Once it’s full, dump your waste at a collection point or in your garden compost.

Frequently asked questions

Once you’ve emptied Mint, simply wash it with soap and water (black soap, apple vinegar or washing-up liquid). Cleaning vinegar has the advantage of neutralising smells. Rinse the bin well after cleaning. Mint and Lime are not suitable for the dishwasher. Avoid abrasive sponges and corrosive soaps. Avoid abrasive sponges and corrosive soaps. To simplify the task, you can also unclip the lid.

Our compost bins are designed for indoor use. You can keep your bin in your kitchen without being bothered by smells or gnats. We do not recommend placing our bins outdoors. Weather variations could shorten their lifespan.

klode’s bins be used with or without a compostable bag. A 7 litre bag is recommended. For further information, please consult the User’s Guide.

klode’s composts don’t meet the Müllex standard. That’s why we’ve designed them so beautiful – there’s no need to hide them.
